Our Story

Our journey began in 1981 with the visionary leadership of Dr. Hussein Farid. Dr. Farid, a graduate of the faculty of engineering at Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt, earned a BSc in Power & Electrical machines. He continued his studies as a postgraduate student at the same faculty, achieving remarkable progress and earning an MSc degree in 1987.In pursuit of further knowledge and expertise, Dr. Farid embarked on a new chapter in his academic journey by joining the University of New Brunswick in Canada. It was there that he obtained his Ph.D. degree in 1994. Followin​g his studies, Dr. Farid returned to Cairo and assumed the role of assistant professor in the Power and Machines department at the faculty of engineering at Ain Shams University, where he remained until 2005.Throughout his career, Dr. Farid has made significant contributions to various institutions. He served as an Associate Professor at King Abdul-Aziz University in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, from August 2005 to August 2007. Additionally, he worked as a consultant in the Deanship of Scientific Research at King Abdul-Aziz University from August 2007 to February 2008. Dr. Farid also held the prestigious position of Professor at the Ain Shams University Faculty of Engineering, specializing in Elect Power and machines, from September 2007 to 2021.His passion for his work stemmed from his own challenges and experiences in pursuing electrical power engineering at Ain Shams University in Cairo and the University of New Brunswick in Canada. Through his engagements with prominent consulting entities such as Infra Group, ALDAR, Envirocivic, and Al Ahram Group, Dr. Farid honed his expertise and further fueled his enthusiasm for the field.In 2008, Dr. Farid's dedication and accomplishments were recognized when the syndicate of Egyptian engineers certified the consulting office, known as "FCG" or Fried Consulting Group, as a specialized office in electromechanical engineering.
